Voucher Program

Data Connect Australia is offering researchers the opportunity to apply for a voucher, up to the value of $10,000, to offset the cost in accessing the Sax Institute’s Secure Unified Research Environment (SURE).

• Applicants are required to provide minimum 50% matched co-funding.
• The Voucher Program is intended to encourage and primarily support early and mid-career researchers or teams with limited funding.
• The Voucher Program is competitive.
• A total of $100,000 is available across a 12-month period from 1 October 2026 through 30 September 2027

Who can apply?

Researchers conducting linked data projects using Data Connect Australia infrastructure, including the Sax Institute’s Secure Unified Research Environment (SURE) and at least one Data Linkage Unit.

When do I apply?

There are quarterly application rounds. The opening and closing dates are:
