SURE Voucher Program now open, and discover SURE 3.0 on 21 October
Data Connect Australia is now accepting applications for the 2026–27 SURE Voucher Program, delivered in partnership with the Sax Institute.
Vouchers of up to $10,000 are available to offset the cost of the Secure Unified Research Environment (SURE). Each voucher covers up to 50% of total SURE access costs (ex-GST). Applicants must provide matched cash co-funding of at least 1:1, either from a funded grant or from a documented source such as an organisational research budget. Eligible projects must use SURE and at least one DCA Data Linkage Unit, and must have all required approvals in place. Early and mid-career researchers are strongly encouraged to apply. Round 1 closes 31 December 2026.

The event will showcase SURE 3.0, which brings a new architecture, enhanced AI and analytics capabilities, expanded storage and updated fees. Presenters will also explain how to apply for a voucher.
